Nestled in the hills of South Gippsland, Victoria awaits The Old Hospital Creative Retreat.
Situated in the picturesque tourist village of Loch, just over an hour from Melbourne, the unique and recently refurbished venue has been specifically designed to suit craft, scrapbooking, book groups, yoga, meditation, team building and cycling retreats.
A short stroll into the heart of Loch Village and you can enjoy a gin distillery & brewery, cafes, restaurant, wine bar, and homewares shops. Or you may prefer a scenic drive through the South Gippsland hills to gourmet wine and cheese venues and markets.

Suitable for groups of 8 to 24 adults. Groups can enjoy exclusive use of the property and gardens.

Large, versatile creative space - 8.5x7.5 meters - with daylight lighting, heating & cooling. For craft, embroidery and scrapbooking groups we have cutting mats, display walls, trestle tables and chairs, power boards, daylight lamps, irons and ironing boards.

Catering
Catering can be arranged on request.

BBQ on large north facing deck overlooking private gardens.
North facing sunroom and smaller quiet space “breakout areas”.

I have returned from a two night stay with a group of sewing friends and have nothing but praise. The hospital has been reborn as a wonderful base for groups with a nod to its previous life in the decor. The bedrooms are modern and spacious with large ensuites and the beds very comfortable. There is a large lounge/dining area looking over the Loch hills and a large deck with barbecue set in an older world garden. The kitchen is large...commercial in size with 2 ovens and everything you could need, even cocktail glasses. If you don't feel like cooking cafes are a short walk away. The meeting/craft room has great natural light and is well serviced with its own tea/coffee corner. Our group booked again before we had left from this retreat. It will be a regular visit.
